Things are moving right along in class.  At this stage, most students have finished their sloppy copy and are well on their way to having typed their draft into the online Storyjumper program.

We spent time with partners today reading and revising/editing each other's stories before we began  illustrating.

 

Students dove right into the illustrating process using a variety of the mediums we've practiced during Summer Academy including watercolor paint, watercolor pencil, cut paper, clay, Sharpies, markers, and more!  It's fun to see the many ways they are combining mediums to bring their stories to life through pictures.
