We're so excited you decided to join us for Summer Academy 2015. Over the next three weeks, you will be putting your imagination and creativity to use as you write and illustrate your very own picture book.
Sharpen your pencils and your mind and get ready to create !!!
Week One
This week's focus is on creating our stories. We'll share our favorites and brainstorm ideas for our own. We'll learn from professional writers and illustrators and begin the process of creating our very own books.
Week Two
Revising and illustrating our books is our focus this week. We'll share our process by producing a class video, too!
Week Three
We'll begin our week with a visit to the Minnesota Center for Book Arts, then celebrate our achievements during Open House night and our Thursday morning release party.
